how to make a too big shirt flattering

bigshirt1
I love wearing shirts that are too big for me. Roomy. Comfy. No tugging to make sure you’re covered during your day.
I love wearing them. Loved actually.
Once I got married, anytime I would wear a baggy shirt with skinny jeans, someone would ask “Are you pregnant?”
Before marriage, nothing.
First of all, I’m not with child. Secondly, if I was, I’d lie, say no, and that I had a brownie obsession. That last part is true.
Anyway, here’s some outfits that will steer the pregnancy questions away and allow me to indulge in my big shirt love…

Vest with scarf.

Fitted cardigan.

Belted.

And my favorite outfit for when I have a food baby or it’s that delightful time of month…
pair with a long grandpa cardigan and your belly can hang out over your jeans and no one will ever know.
Bring on the brownies.

This post is quite helpful– I recently inherited a shirt that is way oversized, and I love it but I couldn't quite figure out how to wear it. You have such a lovely style!

You are so stinkin' hilarious. "food baby" Hee-hee. Great ideas. I also love larger shirts, they're comfy, yet looks very stylish when layered with more fitted items. My fave is the first look with the pattern mixing.
